The Soul's Longing (Excerpt from "The Philosophy of Divine Love" by Shree Swamiji)

Our Divine writings explain that every soul is longing only for God's love and that is Divine. He can only be happy when he has found his Divine Beloved, the Supreme form of Godhead Personality, and has experienced His Love.
Everyone seeks peace, happiness, pleasure and love, regardless of who he is. You may be good or bad, illiterate or literate, rich or poor, ugly or beautiful. Whatever you are, the inner call of your conscience from your soul os the same and that is to recieve only unlimited love and happiness, and that is Divine love.
So, your sould is seeking for Divine love, but you are not. "You" means your mind. You are looking for something different. It is only when these two, your inner self and your conscious mind, coordinate together, only then your devotion for Divine love begins, otherwise not.
Your mind is the governor of your body, so whatever actions are taken are governed by your mind. If your mind understands correctly, it will lead you on the right path. If your understanding is incorrect, your actions will naturally be incorrect. Unless your mind decides, you cannot proceed towards God realization.
The Gita and the Bhagwatam say: " ". "Your mind itself is the means of finding God". How is it so? The mind with material aspiration is the blockage and the mind with devotional aspiration is the means of God realization.
